The existing house

People add a video doorbell to a bath they still cannot enter, or they finish the tile and then cut it open for a leak sensor. The technology arrives late, and the dangerous part of the room was never rebuilt.

This is Central Florida work, specified from Reunion. The baths we can show are Lake Butler, the Reunion roll-in, and the Orlando wet room. Those rooms prove the construction. They are not a showroom of hubs and apps.

How this job is built

While the renovation is open we locate night lighting on the path to the bath, a handheld on the shower valve, blocking for a future grab bar, shades where the sun is the problem, a lock and a video doorbell at the door you actually use, and leak detection at the water heater and the bath. Smoke and carbon-monoxide alerts stay on the same electrical plan. Motion lighting is for the hallway at night, not a whole-house theater system.

Electrical changes go on the renovation permit with the rest of the job. License CGC1531832. We will not write a smart-home contract for a house we are not renovating.
