The existing house

A garden tub you cannot safely use, plus a separate shower with a curb, wastes the only primary bath. Grab bars screwed into tile after the fact do not fix the threshold. The floor has to be opened.

Reunion houses inside the resort often still have the original tub-and-shower split. Guests and owners both need a bath that does not depend on a high step, and the finish still has to look like the rest of the house — not a medical suite dropped into a vacation home.

We removed the threshold and rebuilt the shower as a roll-in you can enter without stepping up — stone, glass, and a layout that takes a wheelchair. This is the before-and-after we can show.
