The existing house

A pretty tile job on top of a curb still makes you step up. A ‘walk-in tub’ brochure does not fix the room. The house needs a wet zone that is actually flat, drained, and finished so the rest of the bath still looks residential.

Orlando primary baths often pack a tub, a curb, and a vanity into a room that was never waterproofed as one zone. Taking the curb out only works if the slope and the membrane are redesigned, not patched.

How this job is built

We rebuild the waterproofing, the slope, and the stone together. This Orlando wet room has a linear drain, slab walls, a rain head, and a soaking tub on the same floor. It is not the kitchen remodel down the hall — that scope stays on the Orlando kitchen page. If the plan is to stay in the house for the next 10–20 years, the roll-in is specified while the bath is open.

Wet-area work is permitted. We do not leave membrane and drain inspections to a handyman.
