The existing house

On a lake house the kitchen gets bid alone. The island is new. The opening to the lanai is still the old one, and the grill sits on a patio that was never part of the plan.

This is the whole-house renovation on the water, not the Lake Butler bath. The kitchen has to face the same way as the lanai and the outdoor kitchen under the tile roof.

We sat in the kitchen and walked to the water before anyone sketched. The kitchen, the arched lanai, and the outdoor kitchen under the same tile roof are one drawing. The wet room in this house is on that plan. Lake Butler is a different Windermere bath.
