Book a site visit

Let’s talk about your home.

First visit is free. We’ll come look at the house and talk about what you want to change. Whole homes, kitchens, baths, and additions. No finished plan needed.

What are you thinking about?

You may already have a plan, or you may only know what you want the house to become. A whole-home renovation, a kitchen, a bath, an addition, outdoor living, smart-home safety, age-in-place, or a custom home. We start there.

What happens next

  1. 1. Tell us about the project. A short form is enough. Answer what you know.
  2. 2. We connect with you. We reply within one business day, then talk about the right next step.
  3. 3. We visit the property. When it makes sense, we meet at the house.
  4. 4. We explore what is possible. We’ll discuss your priorities, look at the possibilities, and help you decide what makes sense for your home.

Bring the ideas, the problems, and the questions. Drawings and a final number can wait. Sometimes the answer is a renovation. Sometimes an addition. Sometimes a new house. The first conversation is about the house you have.

First visit is free. No finished plan needed. We reply within one business day, then meet at the house.

FAQ

Before you book.

Is the first visit free?
Yes. The first visit is free. We’ll walk the house with you and talk about what you want it to become.
Where do you work?
Reunion, FL. We take whole-house and room work in Orlando, Winter Park, Windermere, Lake Mary, Lakeland, and Kissimmee.
Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes. You hire iDesignBuildFlorida. Florida license CGC1531832. Karen Kars leads design.
What is design-build?
Design and construction are one contract. You approve the plan, then we build that plan.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. Work is fully permitted. We handle the drawings, the building department, and the inspections through certificate of occupancy.
Do you build accessible bathrooms and wet rooms?
Yes. Curbless roll-in showers, wheelchair-clear vanities, and spa-level wet rooms. The Reunion grand bath is a garden tub and stepped shower rebuilt as a roll-in, wheelchair-accessible wet room.
Do you renovate for aging in place?
Yes. A whole-house renovation can include a shower you walk into, a kitchen you can use seated, and a bedroom on the first floor, finished with the rest of the house.
How long does a renovation take?
The Winter Park kitchen and the Orlando kitchen can be finished in as little as two weeks from permit when the layout holds. A whole-house renovation depends on the structure and the finish. We set that at the on-site consultation.
Why does the first price look larger?
Labor, materials, and design are in the first number. A drawing-only bid looks smaller until the construction and the changes are added later.
What size jobs do you take?
A kitchen, a primary bath, a roll-in shower or accessible wet room, furnishings and millwork for a room, a whole-house renovation, or a restaurant interior. If the job needs drawings, a permit, and a crew, we will talk.
What does a kitchen or bath cost, and how long does it take?
The cost is set after the site visit, once we have seen the house. A Winter Park kitchen can be finished in as little as two weeks from permit when the layout holds. A bath takes longer when the waterproofing has to be rebuilt. We set both at the house.
