The existing house

The tub, the curb, and the vanity were never waterproofed as one room. A grab bar on the old tile does not remove the step. A doorbell does not help you enter the bath.

This is the Orlando wet room, not the Orlando kitchen and not the Winter Park whole-house. The kitchen down the hall is a different URL. The access on this job is the floor, the slope, and the drain.

How this job is built

We opened the floor, rebuilt the membrane, and set a linear drain so the shower and the soaking tub share one wet plane. The vanity stays dry. Night lighting, a lock, and leak detection can be located while a bath like this is open. They were not installed as a system on this Orlando room, and we will not say they were.

The wet room is permitted work. License CGC1531832. The first visit is free and in the house.
