Reunion second-floor addition

The house had a tall yellow volume, a loft walk, and dated arches. We framed a second floor through that space — bedroom, bath, and a shower — and finished the living floor in herringbone wood. Outdated arches came out. This fully permitted renovation added the square footage so the new rooms look as if the house was always drawn that way.
